Can I supply my own faucet or toilet?
Yes. We install owner-supplied fixtures regularly. The manufacturer's warranty on the fixture stays with you, and our workmanship warranty covers the installation. We do recommend keeping the box and paperwork until after installation in case a part is missing or the rough-in does not match.
How long does it take to install a toilet?
A straightforward like-for-like toilet replacement takes about one to two hours including removal, flange inspection, new wax seal, new supply line, and testing. It takes longer if the closet flange is corroded or set below finished floor level, which is common in older homes and requires a repair first.
Why does my new faucet still drip?
A new faucet dripping is usually debris in the cartridge from the supply line, an over-tightened connection distorting a seal, or a defective cartridge out of the box. Occasionally it is house pressure above the fixture's rating. All of these are diagnosable in a single visit.
My garbage disposal hums but does not spin — is it dead?
Often not. A hum with no rotation usually means the impeller is jammed. Cutting power, freeing the flywheel with the hex wrench at the bottom, and pressing the reset button frequently restores it. If it trips again immediately or leaks from the body, the unit needs replacement.
